Our children have never known life without Google, smartphones, Wi-Fi, and streaming television. They are “digital natives.” More than half of our children spend over 4 hours a day using some form of screen-based media. And screen time is exerting a significant impact on their development. For example, Google has replaced their parents as their primary source of sex education, and now one-third of our children’s generation believes that their feelings determine their gender, not their biological sex.

Our Children's Generation is Becoming Increasingly Skeptical of the Accuracy and Authority of God's Word.
More children in this generation identify themselves as atheists than in any previous generation. Most view science and faith as contradictory and accept science as a better source of truth than God’s Word. Most of today’s youth do not believe in absolute truth, and over half regard church as irrelevant. Spirituality is a low priority. Instead, their highest goal is to finish their education and begin a career. Meanwhile, they battle higher levels of indecision and anxiety in the interior of their lives than any generation before them.
